Shelldyne Paola Joseph-Vassor

My name is Shelldyne Paola Joseph-Vassor, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Margate, Florida. I earned my Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from Barry University in 2011 and bring over 14 years of experience in the mental health field, including five years as a Clinical Therapist.

Fluent in Haitian Creole and proud of my Haitian American heritage, I understand firsthand the cultural stigmas surrounding mental health—particularly within the Haitian community. I am deeply committed to breaking the silence and normalizing mental health conversations across all communities. My mission is to bring awareness, provide support, and empower individuals to seek the help they deserve.

I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, and major life transitions, offering a compassionate and culturally sensitive approach to healing. My clinical expertise, combined with my lived experience, equips me to walk alongside clients as they confront and overcome their personal challenges.

In addition to being a therapist, I am also a florist, entrepreneur, and wellness advocate—roles that allow me to express creativity and inspire balance and beauty in everyday life. I believe healing is holistic, and I strive to create a safe, supportive, and empowering space for every individual I work with.
